Our dedicated team of Provider Service Representatives take calls from providers who have questions mainly regarding member eligibility, member coverage, benefit types, copays, and claims. This team will be cross trained and learn both Provider and Member Service. The responsibility needed will require a commitment to the length of assignment. Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing information to providers and does so by verifying member coverages, benefit types, eligibility dates, and claim payment/statuses
- Estimate member’s out of pocket expenses for select procedures or services and explain member copayments
- Expected to meet established performance goals in the areas of efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, adherence, and attendance
- Ensure compliance with BroadPath, Client, and HIPAA regulations
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as a health plan Provider Customer Service Representative
- Medicare Experience
- Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills including: the ability to effectively search for and type information on the computer, navigate through multiple windows and screens quickly, and inputting information accurately while keeping pace with the call
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
