About the Position
Help those in need from the comfort of your own home!
Direct Interactions is partnering with American Red Cross efforts for natural disaster relief across the US! You can help those recovering from a trgic event by taking calls from those that have been impacted. You will be in action assisting those in need after a short self-paced training and by passing a short (online) course on call taking and finding answers. This is an independant contractor role.
Requirements
Laptop or Desktop Computer running Windows Operating System Windows 10, Chromebooks and Macs are okay for this project
USB headset with a mute button
DSL or Cable internet (Wireless and Satellite are not compatible with our software must be hard wired)
Current antivirus and antispyware
Must reside in the US
Summary of Essential Skills
Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (if selcted a verbal fluency Spanish test will be administered)
Excellent verbal communication skills including grammar and voice quality
Ability to remain poised under pressure for back to back calls
Ability to show empathy for their frustrations or concerns and resolve the issue in a timely fashion
Documentation, data entry, organization and problem-solving skills are desirable
Ability to handle detailed work with a high degree of accuracy and speed
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Pay Rate
$12.50 per hour paid via direct deposit once per month
Shifts
Pick your own hours with a weekly minimum of 20 hours per week. The call center is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week
In this role, you are responsible for scheduling yourself with shift selections being in one-hour increments for max flexibility
Certification
It is mostly self-paced with some virtual instructor led time. This role must be filled ASAP
